Job Summary

We are seeking compassionate and skilled caregivers to provide non-medical care and companionship to our clients. As a caregiver with Parentis Health, you will have the opportunity to make a meaningful difference in the lives of our clients and their families.

Responsibilities
  • Companionship and Conversation: Engage with clients in conversation, provide emotional support, and promote social interaction.
  • Personal Care: Assist clients with daily living activities, such as bathing, grooming, and toileting.
  • Assistance with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs) and Instrumental Activities of Daily Living (iADLs): Help clients with tasks such as meal preparation, light housekeeping, and transportation.
  • Medication Reminders: Assist clients with taking their medications as prescribed.
  • Transportation: Safely transport clients to appointments and other destinations.
Qualifications
  • Valid Driver's License: Must have a valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
  • CNA, CHHA (Preferred): Certified Nursing Assistant or Certified Home Health Aide certification is preferred.
  • Home Care Aid Registration: Must be registered with the department of social services as a home care aid.
  • COVID Vaccination: Must be fully vaccinated against COVID-19.
  • Computer Literacy: Must be able to operate smartphone apps and have basic computer skills.
  • HIPAA Regulations: Must understand and comply with HIPAA regulations, including ethics and confidentiality.
  • Background Screening: Must have a clear background screening in accordance with California regulations.
  • TB Clearance: Must have TB clearance or be willing to obtain it.
