POSITION SCOPE AND ORGANIZATIONAL IMPACT
The role of the Solar Electrical Project Engineer at Moss involves supporting the Electrical Assistant and Electrical Project Manager in both the administrative and technical oversight of large-scale utility solar projects.

This position entails supervising all activities related to contract management, change orders, submittals, procurement, and scheduling. A positive attitude and professional demeanor are essential, as interactions will occur with staff at all levels within a dynamic environment.

ESSENTIAL JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Conduct electrical take-offs to ensure accurate material orders
  • Analyze, update, and distribute drawing revisions throughout each development stage
  • Create equipment, DC, and AC signage and labels for all project sites
  • Submit, manage, and reconcile outstanding submittals
  • Update electrical logs based on purchase order issuance
  • Manage and track site equipment
  • Process vendor invoices through CMIC and internal systems
  • Identify necessary change orders
  • Schedule logistics and transportation
  • Upload required field documents onto PlanGrid
  • Record field deliveries in CMIC
  • Perform additional duties as assigned
EDUCATION AND WORK EXPERIENCE
A Bachelor’s degree in construction management, engineering, or a related field is required. Proficiency in Microsoft Office and PlanGrid is essential. The ideal candidate will demonstrate the ability to adapt to a fast-paced project environment, possess a keen attention to detail, and exhibit a strong commitment to follow-through. A willingness to embrace new tasks and learn is highly valued.
