Job Title: Mechanical Assembler

Stellant Systems is seeking a skilled Mechanical Assembler to join our team in Melville, NY. As an assembler, you will play a critical role in the construction of complex electronic equipment, working under the supervision of senior manufacturing staff.

Responsibilities:
  • Assemble and wire complex electronic assemblies, utilizing strong module wiring expertise.
  • Read and interpret wiring diagrams, working from models, schematics, and pictorials.
  • Use personal judgment to resolve problems and ensure high-quality work.
  • Perform cabling and harnessing, using soldering irons, pliers, cutters, and other standard wiring and assembly tools.
  • Conduct continuity checks and rework as needed.
  • Train and assist lower-level assemblers, maintaining a positive work environment through professional conduct and communication.
Requirements:
  • High School Diploma and 2 years of technical school or military-related experience or equivalent.
  • Microsoft Office proficiency.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • 10+ years of electronic assembly and wiring experience.
