About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Speech-Language Pathologist to join our team at the McCarton Foundation. As a Speech-Language Pathologist, you will play a critical role in providing exceptional treatment and services to children with autism and other developmental disabilities.

Key Responsibilities
  • Direct Care: Provide individualized treatment to children with autism aged 2-3, utilizing evidence-based practices and techniques to promote language development and communication skills.
  • Assessment and Planning: Conduct comprehensive assessments to identify children's strengths and needs, and develop personalized treatment plans to address their goals and objectives.
  • Evaluation: Regularly evaluate the effectiveness of treatment and make data-driven decisions to adjust treatment plans and ensure optimal outcomes.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with occupational therapists, ABA therapists, and other professionals to provide comprehensive and coordinated care to children and their families.
  • IFSP Development: Participate in the development, implementation, and monitoring of the Individualized Family Service Plan (IFSP) to ensure that children receive the support and services they need to reach their full potential.
  • Professional Growth: Engage in ongoing learning and professional development opportunities to stay current with best practices and research in the field of speech-language pathology.
Requirements
  • New York State licensed Speech-Language Pathologist.
  • Completion of a Master's Degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Sciences and Disorders.
  • Previous experience in autism and early childhood is desired.
  • Adaptable and eager to learn in a new environment.
  • Bilingual in Spanish and English is a plus.
Benefits
  • Salary: $85,000 - $100,000 annually.
  • Schedule: 8:00 am - 4:00 pm, Monday - Friday, full-time, 12-month position.
