About the Role

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Registered Nurse to join our team at Texas Oncology in Amarillo, TX. As a Clinic Registered Nurse, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality patient care and contributing to our mission of delivering exceptional cancer care.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide professional nursing care to patients, adhering to national and company standards and guidelines for specialty regulations.
  • Assess patient health status, identify needs, and provide education and support to patients and families.
  • Facilitate clinical operations, patient care, and communication between patients, families, and interdisciplinary teams.
  • Manage patient medication refill requests, schedule consultations, and coordinate services related to patient care.
  • Act as a resource to LPN/LVNs and medical assistants, promoting interprofessional collaboration and excellence in patient care.
Requirements
  • Graduate from an accredited program for professional nursing education, BSN preferred.
  • Minimum of 1 year of nursing experience.
  • Current RN state license with the State Board of Nursing in practicing state.
  • Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
