**Job Summary**
We are seeking an Occupational Therapist to join our team at Select Medical's Critical Illness Recovery Hospital. As an Occupational Therapist, you will play a vital role in helping our patients recover from complex medical conditions.
**Responsibilities**
* Participate in discharge planning for each patient, including placement, patient/family education, and adaptive equipment.
* Supervise Certified Occupational Therapy Assistants and OT/COTA students.
* Ensure all regulatory requirements are met.
* Conduct individual patient therapy regimens.
* Monitor patient's response to treatment and modify treatment during sessions as needed.
* Complete appropriate documentation according to department policies and procedures.
* Participate in departmental, hospital, and community continuing education seminars and in-services.
**Qualifications**
* Must hold a valid, current license in the state in which they are practicing.
* Possess a Basic Life Support (BLS) certification by start date.
* Graduation from an accredited school of Occupational Therapy.
* Eligibility to take or has passed the examination for Occupational Therapists administered by the NBCOT.
* Successful completion of the National Registry Examination.
