Job Summary: The Sous Chef plays a crucial role in assisting the Executive Chef with food preparation and cooking. This position is responsible for coordinating the activities of kitchen staff and ensuring the kitchen operates smoothly in the absence of the Executive Chef.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare and cook food according to established recipes and production standards, ensuring all deadlines are met.
  • Supervise kitchen staff, including hiring, scheduling, training, and performance evaluations.
  • Maintain food safety and sanitation standards by storing food properly and ensuring cleanliness of the kitchen.
