Medical Support Specialist

At Vidant Health, we are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Medical Assistant to join our team. As a Medical Assistant, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional patient care and supporting our healthcare professionals in their daily tasks.
Key Responsibilities:- Coordinate clinic operations and assist providers with patient care services, including vital signs, patient questionnaire intake, and data entry.
- Assist with and provide patient care services, as necessary, to ensure a positive patient experience.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient care related documentation in both hard copy and electronic medical records.
- Demonstrate skill in clinical duties, such as vitals, health history, and other clinical tasks as directed by clinicians.
- Utilize time management skills to prioritize tasks and manage multiple responsibilities effectively.
- High School graduate or equivalent.
- One of the following certifications: Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) through the American Association of Medical Assistants (AAMA) or Registered Medical Assistant (RMA) through the American Medical Technologists (AMT).
- Preferred: One or more years of experience in a clinical or medical office setting.
- American Heart Association Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification.
