Job Title: Journeyman Carpenter

Location: Boulder, CO

Project: Advanced Manufacturing Facility (Government Commercial/Industrial Project)

Schedule:

  • Days: Monday to Friday (occasional Saturdays)
  • Start Time: 6-7 AM
  • Hours: 8-10 hour days, totaling 40-50 hours per week

Job Responsibilities:

  • Blueprint Reading and Layout: Accurately interpret and follow blueprints and layout plans to ensure precise construction.
  • Framing: Perform metal stud and wood framing, ensuring structural integrity and adherence to project specifications.
  • Installation: Set hollow metal frames, doors, and windows with precision.
  • Blocking and Backing: Install blocking and backing as required for various construction needs.
  • Tool and Equipment Management: Maintain an inventory of tools, manage rental equipment, and ensure all tools and equipment are in good working condition.
  • Safety and Cleanup: Set up safety barricades to protect the work area and perform general cleanup to maintain a safe and organized job site.

Qualifications:

  • Experience: Minimum of 4 years of carpentry experience on commercial projects. Industrial project experience is a plus.
  • Tools: Must own a complete set of carpentry tools.
  • License and Transportation: Must have a valid driver's license and reliable personal transportation.
  • Skills: Strong ability to manage tasks efficiently and a keen attention to detail.

  • Task Management: Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks effectively.
  • Attention to Detail: Strong focus on accuracy and quality in all aspects of work.
