TotalMed Allied is seeking a skilled Catheterization Laboratory Technologist to join our team on a travel assignment in Missouri.
Job SummaryWe are looking for a highly motivated and experienced Cath Lab Technologist to work in a dynamic healthcare environment. As a Catheterization Laboratory Technologist, you will be responsible for assisting with diagnostic and interventional procedures, operating imaging equipment, and maintaining a safe and clean work environment.
Responsibilities- Assist with diagnostic and interventional procedures, including coronary and peripheral angiography, and electrophysiology studies.
- Operate imaging equipment, such as fluoroscopy and ultrasound machines, to capture high-quality images.
- Maintain a safe and clean work environment, adhering to infection control protocols and ensuring proper disposal of biohazardous materials.
- Collaborate with the healthcare team to ensure seamless patient care and efficient workflow.
- Participate in ongoing education and training to stay up-to-date on the latest procedures and technologies.
- Current certification as a Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist (RCIS) or Registered Radiologic Technologist (RRT) with a specialty in Interventional Radiology.
- Minimum 2 years of experience as a Cath Lab Technologist in a hospital or healthcare setting.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to lift 50 pounds and stand for long periods.
