As an essential member of the healthcare team, you will be responsible for capturing high-quality images and videos of internal structures, which will be analyzed by physicians to diagnose various medical conditions.
The ideal candidate will possess strong technical skills, attention to detail, and excellent communication abilities. You will work closely with patients, ensuring their comfort and safety during procedures. This role requires you to maintain accurate records, follow hospital policies, and adhere to infection control standards.
Key Responsibilities:- Pre-Procedure Preparation: Review patient medical history, adjust equipment settings, and explain procedures to patients.
- Conducting Ultrasound Scans: Position patients, apply conductive gel, operate equipment, and capture diagnostic-quality images.
- Patient Safety and Comfort: Ensure patient comfort, monitor for signs of distress, and address concerns.
- Image Analysis and Reporting: Review images, analyze findings, and provide preliminary reports to physicians.
- Post-Procedure Care: Assist patients after procedures, remove gel, and provide aftercare instructions.
- RDMS (Registered Diagnostic Medical Sonographer) certification
- BLS (Basic Life Support) certification
- Familiarity with ultrasound equipment and software
We offer a tax-free stipend package, including a competitive hourly rate and comprehensive benefits. The estimated salary for this role is $$90-$120 per hour, based on 40 hours per week. Please note that this is an estimate and may vary depending on individual circumstances.
