    • Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare teams to ensure clear understanding of care plans and progress.
    • Provide education and support to patients and families to promote health literacy and self-management.
  • Quality and Safety
    • Ensure adherence to established policies and procedures to maintain a safe and healthy environment.
    • Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient care and outcomes.
Requirements
  • Education
    • High School Diploma or equivalent required; Bachelor's degree in Nursing preferred.
  • Experience
    • One year of relevant experience in a healthcare setting preferred.
  • Licensure and Certification
    • Current RN licensure in the state of North Carolina required.
    • NC state-approved curricula for restrictive interventions within three months of hire required.
  • Skills and Abilities
    • Ability to care for patients with behavioral health needs.
    • Ability to establish therapeutic relationships and maintain control in high-pressure situations.
    • Knowledge of psychiatric medications, side effects, and treatment interventions.
