- Develop and implement evidence-based care plans to promote optimal health and well-being.
- Communication and Education
- Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare teams to ensure clear understanding of care plans and progress.
- Provide education and support to patients and families to promote health literacy and self-management.
- Quality and Safety
- Ensure adherence to established policies and procedures to maintain a safe and healthy environment.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient care and outcomes.
- Education
- High School Diploma or equivalent required; Bachelor's degree in Nursing preferred.
- Experience
- One year of relevant experience in a healthcare setting preferred.
- Licensure and Certification
- Current RN licensure in the state of North Carolina required.
- NC state-approved curricula for restrictive interventions within three months of hire required.
- Skills and Abilities
- Ability to care for patients with behavioral health needs.
- Ability to establish therapeutic relationships and maintain control in high-pressure situations.
- Knowledge of psychiatric medications, side effects, and treatment interventions.
