Job Summary

Ryder is seeking a skilled Truck Driver Regional Route to join our team. As a Regional Truck Driver, you will be responsible for safely operating a vehicle within our network, ensuring compliance with safety regulations, and providing exceptional customer service.

Key Responsibilities
  • Operate a vehicle within our network, adhering to safety regulations and company policies.
  • Ensure accurate records are maintained, including loading and unloading freight.
  • Detect and eliminate or minimize safety hazards.
  • Perform other tasks as assigned by management.
Requirements
  • Minimum 21 years of age.
  • Minimum of 9 months of verifiable driving experience.
  • Pass a Ryder Drug Test.
  • Must have verifiable driving experience in like equipment.
  • Pass a Ryder Background and Motor vehicle check, including Drug and alcohol verification from previous employers for the last 3 years.
  • Pass a DOT physical.
  • Pass a Ryder road test.
  • Must have a valid driver's license.
  • Ability to follow written and/or oral instructions.
  • Ability to read, interpret and apply laws, rules, regulations, policies and/or procedures.
