NHC HomeCare Knoxville is seeking a skilled Occupational Therapist to join our team. As an Occupational Therapist, you will play a vital role in the rehabilitation of patients with physical disabilities, injuries, or diseases.
Key Responsibilities:- Supervise and implement occupational therapeutic techniques for patient rehabilitation
- Coordinate and supervise Occupational Therapy services
- Provide Occupational Therapy services as ordered by the referring physician and delegate tasks to licensed Occupational Therapy Assistants
- Evaluate, plan, and supervise treatments and programs, including establishing short-term and long-term goals for patients
- Maintain patient care records, ensuring compliance with state and federal requirements
- Graduate of an accredited course in occupational therapy, certified by the American Occupational Therapy Association
- Licensed/registered under state statutes in the state where the Occupational Therapist will practice
- Active member of State and National Occupational Therapy Associations preferred
