Key Responsibilities:

1. Develop, implement, and assess Patient Care Services aligned with the Center's strategic objectives, striving to meet or exceed performance benchmarks.

2. Lead the preparation for regulatory compliance and accreditation, ensuring adherence to established standards.

3. Evaluate patient care delivery and outcomes through regular assessments, quality improvement initiatives, and patient feedback.

4. Facilitate interdisciplinary collaboration to promote a cohesive approach to patient care.

5. Create and refine policies, procedures, and programs to enhance operational efficiency and patient care quality.

6. Identify educational needs and champion professional development for clinical staff.

7. Oversee the development of operational and capital budgets, ensuring fiscal responsibility.

8. Address personnel matters, including conflict resolution and performance evaluations.

9. Guide staffing strategies, including recruitment, retention, and workforce planning, to optimize team performance.

10. Foster effective communication and relationships with all stakeholders, including clinical and administrative teams.

11. Cultivate a supportive environment that aligns with organizational goals of quality, patient satisfaction, and operational excellence.

12. Lead the development and implementation of quality assurance and improvement initiatives.

Leadership Expectations:

  • Articulate a clear vision that aligns with the mission of the Ambulatory Surgery Center and inspire the team to achieve it.
  • Provide mentorship and support to develop a high-performing clinical team.
  • Effectively communicate changes and their implications to foster team engagement and commitment.

Qualifications:

  • Education: Graduate of an accredited nursing program.
  • License: Active RN license in the State of Florida.
  • Certifications: Current ACLS, BLS, and PALS certifications.
  • Experience: Minimum of 2 years in surgical leadership within a healthcare setting, demonstrating expertise in quality improvement and patient engagement.
  • Skills: Recent experience in roles such as Operating Room Circulator, Pre-Operative Nurse, or Post Operative Nurse is preferred.
  • Customer Focus: Ability to engage with diverse individuals to ensure high-quality patient care.
  • Communication: Proficient in oral and written communication, with the ability to influence effectively.
  • Interpersonal Skills: Strong relationship-building capabilities.
  • Financial Management: Ability to plan and manage budgets effectively.
  • Critical Thinking: Skilled in navigating complex situations to determine appropriate actions.
  • Problem Solving: Capable of addressing operational challenges.
  • Time Management: Proficient in prioritizing tasks to meet deadlines.
