Valuation Research Coordinator

Overview
The Research and Analytics Specialist will work closely with the Sales and Solutions teams to understand the research and data warehouse needs of the business. This role will leverage internal and external vendor toolkits to create holistic deliverables that include valuation, actionable insights, benchmarking for contextualization, and strategic takeaways.
Responsibilities
- Partner with Sales and Solutions teams to understand research and data warehouse needs
- Leverage vendor toolkits to create deliverables with valuation, insights, and benchmarking
- Ascribe value to sponsorship assets for properties and brands across the sports and entertainment landscape
- Assist in creating prospecting lists, sales collateral, and developing the hook for owned and operated, 3rd party, and Arena Alliance partners
- Become an expert in external vendor toolkits to provide data for storytelling
- Research current and potential properties/markets to develop strategic analysis of business opportunities
- Research target categories for each property, providing recommendations and insights
- Become a trusted advisor to internal stakeholders and external clients through understanding their business challenges and building research-based solutions
- Work with the Solutions team to build thought leadership pieces to assist the sales team in outreach and category knowledge
- Support the Partnership Activation team to develop analytics plans to measure and demonstrate sponsorship value
- Support the production and management of analytical tools, reports, and dashboards to inform business practices
- Support the management of CRM systems and build data sets for reporting and analytics
Qualifications
- Undergraduate and/or graduate studies in sports business, management, market research, marketing, statistics, mathematics, finance, or other analytical fields
- 1-2 years' experience with demonstrated development and execution skills, ideally with understanding of/experience in the sports & entertainment industry
- Team player willing to work across multiple departments to get the job done
- Experience with quantitative analytics and ability to draw a story out of data
- Demonstrated success analyzing marketing strategy and measurement plans
- Knowledge of and ability to apply basic marketing concepts used in sales pitches and ideation for prospective and existing partners
- Ability to synthesize complex data sets into actionable insights that drive the business
- Creative Problem Solver with the ability to quickly understand brands/partners' business models and research solutions for growth
- Highly driven self-starter, with ability to work independently without supervision
- Ability to manage long-term projects as well as quick turnaround assignments

Benefits
This role pays an hourly wage of $31.25 to $36.06. For full-time roles, benefits include health, dental, and vision insurance, 401(k) savings plan, 401(k) matching, and paid time off (vacation days, sick days, and 12 holidays).
