We are seeking a highly skilled Cardiac Surgeon to join our multidisciplinary team at The Center for Heart and Vascular Health. This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to the delivery of high-quality cardiovascular care to patients throughout Delaware, Maryland, New Jersey, and southeastern Pennsylvania.
Key Highlights:
- We perform close to 1,000 cardiac procedures annually, including coronary artery bypass, aortic and mitral valve repair and replacement, TAVR, TEVAR, lead extraction, Mitraclip, ECMO, VAD, complex aortic procedures, and robotic coronary procedures.
- Our comprehensive team consists of 5 Cardiac Surgeons, 25 cardiologists, and 16 advanced practice clinicians, working together to provide state-of-the-art treatments for cardiovascular diseases.
- The Center for Heart and Vascular Health is a regional referral center for patients requiring cardiac surgery procedures.
- We have a dedicated 18-bed combined cardiology/cardiac surgery ICU staffed 24/7 with dedicated Cardiac Surgery Intensivists, Cardiac Intensivists, experienced surgical advanced practice team, and ICU nurses and 10-bed Cardiac Step-Down Unit.
- Our Structural heart room offers dedicated Cardiac Surgery block time for these procedures in multidisciplinary partnerships with cardiology and vascular surgery.
