Diesel Mechanic Job Description

We are seeking an experienced diesel mechanic to join our team at Jasper Engines. As a diesel mechanic, you will be responsible for performing repairs and maintenance on diesel engines, fuel systems, and vehicle drive line components.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform all levels of repairs from basic to advanced on diesel engines, fuel systems, and vehicle drive line components
  • Observe, listen, and follow instructions given by senior technicians
  • Communicate effectively and demonstrate mechanical aptitude
  • Assist with general shop duties
Requirements:
  • Good mechanical aptitude
  • Willingness to learn and grow your abilities
  • Ability to lift up to 70lbs
  • Ability to use proper tools and equipment to perform daily mechanical functions
  • Good problem solving skills
  • 5+ years of previous diesel diagnostic and mechanical experience
  • High school diploma or equivalent, technical or trade school
