Physics Instructor Opportunity

The UCNJ Union College of Union County, NJ seeks a qualified individual to teach physics courses as an Adjunct Faculty member. The successful candidate will have a Master's degree in the discipline and some teaching experience.

About the Position

This is a part-time position that requires teaching physics courses as assigned. The ideal candidate will have the ability to teach undergraduates, use alternative educational delivery systems, and incorporate library and computer resources into the curriculum.

Key Responsibilities

• Teach assigned courses in accordance with the course syllabus and catalog description
• Incorporate interactive approaches, technologies, and methods into courses
• Meet all scheduled class meetings and maintain accurate grade and attendance records
• Participate in assessment of learning outcomes and demonstrate the use of results in course planning

Competencies and Skills Required

• Certification or license as needed and appropriate
• Demonstrated ability to teach undergraduates
• Willingness to use alternatives educational delivery systems and instructional techniques

Salary Range

$55,000 - $65,000 per year based on education level and experience.
