Critical Illness Recovery Hospital

Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Respiratory Therapist to join our team at Select Specialty Hospital - Omaha. As a Respiratory Therapist, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality patient care to critically ill patients.

Responsibilities
  • Evaluate patient needs and develop effective treatment plans
  • Provide respiratory care to patients with complex medical and surgical conditions
  • Insert and remove endotracheal tubes as needed
  • Promote continuous quality improvement and patient safety
  • Teach and counsel patients and their families
Requirements
  • Active CRT or RRT credential from the National Board of Respiratory Care (NBRC) or state equivalent
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
  • Current state licensure
  • Agency RT must have ACLS upon first shift, PRN staff must have ACLS upon hire
Preferred Qualifications
  • One (1) year of related experience
