About the Role

We are seeking a skilled HVAC Service Technician to join our team at Southern Air Heating Cooling & Plumbing. As a key member of our service team, you will be responsible for providing top-notch service to our customers, ensuring their comfort and satisfaction with our products and services.

Responsibilities
  • Diagnose and Repair HVAC Equipment: Use your technical expertise to diagnose and repair issues with heating, ventilation, and air conditioning systems.
  • Run Service Calls: Respond to service calls in a timely and professional manner, repairing and/or replacing parts as necessary to ensure customer satisfaction.
  • Identify Opportunities for New Equipment Replacement: Use your knowledge of HVAC systems to identify opportunities for upgrading or replacing existing equipment, improving customer comfort and reducing energy consumption.
  • Document and Communicate Service Calls: Clearly document and communicate the details of each service call to ensure seamless follow-up and execution of future jobs.
Requirements
  • 1 Year of Relative Experience: Possess at least one year of experience in the HVAC industry, with a strong understanding of heating, ventilation, and air conditioning systems.
  • Valid Driver's License: Hold a valid driver's license with a clean driving record, and be able to operate a company vehicle safely and efficiently.
  • EPA Certification/Trade School Certification: Possess EPA certification or trade school certification, or be willing to obtain within a probationary period.
  • Flexible Availability: Be available to work a variety of shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays, as needed.
  • Excellent Communication Skills: Possess strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to effectively communicate with customers, colleagues, and management.
