Job SummaryWe are seeking a highly motivated and compassionate Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) to join our team. As an RBT, you will play a critical role in supporting individuals with autism in their daily lives, teaching essential skills, and promoting independence.
Key Responsibilities- Support Individuals with Autism: Provide one-on-one support to individuals with autism in their homes, communities, or in our centers, promoting social skills, daily living skills, and behavioral development.
- Teach Essential Skills: Implement evidence-based treatments and behavioral interventions to help individuals with autism acquire essential skills, such as communication, social interaction, and daily living skills.
- Collect and Analyze Data: Collect, organize, and summarize data during therapy sessions to inform treatment plans and measure progress.
- Collaborate with Clinical Teams: Participate in clinical team meetings, ongoing training, and collaboration with Board Certified Behavior Analysts (BCBAs) to ensure comprehensive care.
- Implement Training and Therapy Sessions: Carry out training and therapy sessions designed by BCBAs, promoting individualized care and support.
- Education and Experience: High-school diploma or equivalent, with a strong desire to work with individuals with autism.
- Availability: Availability during after-school hours, weekends, and holidays to provide in-home services for clients.
- Transportation: Consistent, reliable transportation, a driver's license, and car insurance to provide in-home services for clients.
- Background and Driving Record: Must maintain a clean background and driving record.
- Training and Certification: Ability to attend our 40-hour RBT training course and be eligible to pass the RBT exam within 45 days of hire.
