We are seeking a Microservices Architect to join our software team at Panavision. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in software development, CI/CD, and cloud infrastructure.

Key Responsibilities
  • Collaborate with software developers to design, implement, and maintain microservices-based applications
  • Build and maintain on-premise and cloud (AWS, GCP) infrastructure as code, using tools like Terraform, Salt, etc.
  • Implement and maintain CI/CD pipelines using tools like GitLab, Packer, etc.
  • Ensure that all infrastructure and services are secure, reliable, and scalable
  • Implement and maintain metrics monitoring and alerting systems to proactively identify and address issues before they impact our clients
  • Participate in code reviews, architecture reviews, and other technical discussions
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent professional experience
  • 3+ years of experience in software development and DevOps
  • Strong knowledge of Python
  • Strong understanding of microservices architecture and design patterns
  • Strong experience with cloud infrastructure (AWS preferred) and infrastructure as code
  • Strong experience with continuous integration and delivery pipelines
  • Strong experience with containerization and container orchestration using Docker
  • Strong experience with monitoring and alerting systems
  • Version control systems (e.g. Git)
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills
Pay Range

$105,000 - $125,000 per year
