About the Role

Mayo Clinic is seeking a highly skilled Medical Oncologist to join our team in Arizona, specializing in Gastrointestinal (GI) medical oncology. As a key member of our Division of Medical Oncology and Hematology, you will play a vital role in expanding our GI medical oncology program and contributing to the development of innovative cancer treatments.

Responsibilities
  • Develop and conduct clinical trials in collaboration with industry partners, the Alliance for Clinical Trials in Oncology, and the NCI Experimental Therapeutics Clinical Trials Network (ET-CTN).
  • Partner with our internationally recognized team, including transplant, surgical, gastroenterology/hepatology, and radiation oncology teams, in a multidisciplinary clinic.
  • Teach medical students, residents, and fellows, and receive mentorship from senior faculty.
  • Contribute to the growth and development of our GI Cancer Program, including the NCI Specialized Program in Research Excellence (SPORE) grant.
