Purchasing Coordinator

We are seeking a highly skilled Purchasing Coordinator to join our team at Mutual Trading Co., Inc. As a key member of our procurement team, you will be responsible for managing the purchasing process, ensuring timely and cost-effective delivery of goods and services.
Key Responsibilities- Issue purchase orders to suppliers based on inventory levels and market trends
- Collaborate with the sales team to identify customer needs and negotiate pricing with vendors
- Coordinate with warehouse and vendors to resolve short shipments and backorders
- Process invoices and payments to ensure timely payment
- Manage vendor relationships and maintain accurate records
- Perform data entry and paperwork processing as needed
- Business-level English proficiency
- Basic-level Japanese proficiency preferred
- High school diploma required; bachelor's degree in business preferred
- 1+ years of relevant experience
This role requires the ability to sit for extended periods, type accurately, and lift up to 20 pounds occasionally. The noise level in the office is normal to loud.
