Job Title: Licensed Practical Nurse

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Licensed Practical Nurse to join our team at the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania. As a Licensed Practical Nurse, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional care to our residents.

Job Summary:

The Licensed Practical Nurse will be responsible for planning, implementing, and evaluating resident care in collaboration with a Registered Nurse. This includes ensuring adherence to HIPAA standards and providing the best possible care to improve our residents' quality of life.

Responsibilities:
  • Provide direct care to residents, including administering medications, performing treatments, and providing emotional support.
  • Collaborate with the Registered Nurse to develop and implement individualized care plans.
  • Conduct regular assessments of residents' physical and emotional needs.
  • Communicate effectively with residents, families, and healthcare team members.
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance resident care and services.
Requirements:
  • Active authorization to practice as a Licensed Practical Nurse in Pennsylvania.
  • Current, valid PA temporary practice permit or PA Licensed Practical Nurse license.
  • Ability to perform essential job functions.
Work Environment:

This position is part-time, with 40 hours biweekly. Shifts are available on the following schedules: 1st shift (7:00 AM - 3:30 PM), 2nd shift (3:00 PM - 11:30 PM), and 3rd shift (11:00 PM - 7:30 AM). Works every other weekend.
