We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Nurse Practitioner to join our team at CVS Health. As a leading healthcare provider, we are committed to delivering high-quality, patient-centered care to our communities.

About the Role

This is a full-time position supporting our clinics located in the North/East suburbs of Dallas. As a Nurse Practitioner, you will be responsible for providing primary and family evidence-based care to our patients, including accurate assessment, diagnosis, treatment, management of health problems, health counseling, and disposition planning.

Responsibilities
  • Provide holistic, evidence-based care to patients, including education and treatment for pregnancy prevention, STI prevention, and safer sex practices.
  • Order and administer immunizations and injections, including COVID-19, influenza, TB, and Depo.
  • Provide patient/parent vaccine counseling and education.
  • Complete administrative duties, including opening/closing the clinic, inventory, patient follow-up, verifying insurance, and collecting payment.
  • Perform routine examinations to ensure positive patient health outcomes.
  • Encourage patients to become active participants in their own healthcare and well-being through services such as health screenings, behavioral health, and wellness.
Requirements
  • Master's Degree level Family Nurse Practitioner program with current National Board Certification and State of Employment license to practice in the Advanced Practice Nurse role.
  • Minimum of two years of medically relevant experience or equivalent.
  • Complete the DOT certification exam within 30 days of employment.
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification, including performing CPR and operating an Automated External Defibrillator (AED).
  • Pass a FIT test and wear the provided respirator mask when protocol requires.
