Inova Health System is seeking a skilled Registered Nurse (RN) to join our Outpatient Cardiology team in Fairfax, Virginia.
About the Role:We are looking for a dedicated and compassionate RN to provide high-quality care to our patients in a fast-paced outpatient setting. As a Cardiology Nurse, you will be responsible for coordinating patient care, performing stress testing, and helping patients manage their INR levels.
Responsibilities:- Provide patient education and answer questions pre- and post-surgery
- Coordinate patient readiness and care throughout the clinic
- Perform stress testing (regular, echo, and nuclear)
- Help patients manage INR levels
- Oversee clinical workflow and work collaboratively with the team
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- 0 years of registered nurse clinical experience (greater than one year of RN experience in addition to prior Cardiology Nursing background is preferred)
- BSN from an accredited school of nursing (if RN has an Associates Degree, must complete BSN within 5 years of start date)
- BLS and ACLS for Healthcare Provider Certification required
- RN licensed, or eligible to practice in the Commonwealth of Virginia as a RN
