Skilled Tradesman

We are seeking a skilled tradesman to join our team at Handyman Connection of SE Jacksonville. As a top-notch craftsman, you will have the opportunity to work on a variety of projects, including residential and commercial construction, remodeling, and repair.

• Cut, shape, and install building materials for construction, remodeling, or repair in a residential and light commercial setting.
• Work with fixtures of wood, plywood, and wallboard.
• Experience with installations and repairs, including decking, framing, tile, flooring, cabinets, windows, drywall, finishing, painting, staining, or custom jobs.
• Evaluate customer requests, price projects, troubleshoot customer issues, and present a description of a work order to a customer.
• Determine and clearly identify proper tooling, materials, and quantities for new and existing projects.

• Competency in general building trades.
• Valid driver's license and insurance.
• Clean background and drug test.
• Your own tools and a reliable vehicle (truck preferred).
• Your own smartphone and Internet access.
• Portfolio / examples of projects completed and references (customers or past employers).
• Preferred, but not required, that you live in south Jacksonville or north St. Johns county.
