Assembler (Onsite) - Bridgeport, WV

We are seeking a skilled Assembler to join our team at Pratt & Whitney in Bridgeport, WV. As an Assembler, you will play a critical role in the assembly and testing of gas turbine engines.
Key Responsibilities- Work from manuals, service bulletins, and other technical instructions to assemble and test engines.
- Use various hand tools, precision measuring equipment, special tooling, and gauges to ensure accurate and efficient assembly.
- Coordinate parts, consumables, and non-product material movements to meet production targets.
- Function as an Assembly tech to ensure standard work and standard methodologies are accomplished while assuring daily targets are met.
- Be fully engaged to support all Continuous Improvement, Quality, EH&S, and overall Operations initiatives and policies to meet company goals.
- Perform other related duties as assigned and refer team challenges to Supervisor.
- Must possess an Airframe & Powerplant License.
- High school diploma or GED equivalent.
- U.S. Person or eligible to obtain necessary export authorizations required.
- 2+ years specialized training in maintenance, assembly, or test of gas turbine engines or similar aircraft systems.
- Prior experience working on Turbofan engines.
- Knowledge of aircraft engine assembly procedures, including fits and tolerances, use of precision measuring instruments and gauges, hand tools, special assembly equipment, and the ability to work from complicated drawings and specifications.
