Caregiver / CNA / GNA / HHA / CMT

Job Summary

We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Caregiver to join our team at Certified Home Nursing Solutions. As a Caregiver, you will provide high-quality care and support to our patients, enabling them to maintain their independence and dignity.

Responsibilities

  • Prepare patients, equipment, and supplies for specific procedures and provide manual assistance as required.
  • Obtain and record patient data for medical records, noting and informing RN/LPN of information collected.
  • Administer treatment and personal care procedures to patients, including feeding, bathing, shaving, changing clothing, cleaning, and assisting with ambulation.
  • Schedule and transport patients to appointments, provide life-enhancing activities, meal planning, and grocery shopping, and assist with medication reminders.
  • Note and report any changes in the patient's condition to the RN or LPN.
  • Take and record vital signs, apply ice bags, and administer douches and enemas.
  • Turn and position patients, set up and feed patients as necessary, and provide patients with fresh drinking water.
  • Perform finger sticks for blood glucose testing with appropriate training.
  • Assist with admission, discharge, and transportation of patients.
  • Follow standard precautions and use personal protective equipment as required.
  • Perform other related duties incidental to the work described herein.

Requirements

We are looking for a qualified and experienced Caregiver who is passionate about delivering exceptional patient care. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 1 year of experience as a CNA and a strong commitment to providing compassionate and personalized care.

Education and Certification

CNA, HHA, or PCA certification is required. A minimum of 1 year of experience as a CNA is preferred, and 2 years of experience as a Home Health Aid or Uncertified Caregiver is preferred.
