THE POSITION
We are seeking a Senior Associate to join our Anti-Money Laundering & Sanctions Operations Team (AMLOPS) SAR Team, bringing expertise in gaming AML compliance and related operations. This role involves collaborating with Associates and Senior Associates to conduct enhanced due diligence and investigate suspicious activities. Responsibilities include managing the review of complex suspicious customer behaviors and identifying process improvements to enhance AML Operations efficiency. This position will report to the Manager of the SAR Team within the Legal & Compliance function.
THE GAME PLAN
Key responsibilities include:
- Drafting, reviewing, approving, and filing Suspicious Activity Reports (SARs) with FinCEN
- Filing Currency Transaction Reports (CTRs) with FinCEN
- Conducting quality control reviews of SAR-related processes to ensure compliance with policies and procedures
- Providing training and support to team members
- Collaborating with Law Enforcement and other departments on SAR inquiries
- Assisting in the development of reporting related to SAR typologies and emerging risks
- Facilitating SAR Committee meetings with senior leaders
- Staying updated on trends and threats in the online gaming industry related to money laundering
- Coordinating with state licensor partners for efficient SAR filing
We are looking for candidates who possess:
- A minimum of 3 years of experience in compliance within a highly regulated financial institution or similar environment
- Experience in drafting, reviewing, and filing Suspicious Activity Reports
- A background in technology, finance, or sports entertainment
- A demonstrated ability to execute processes and identify improvements
- Strong critical thinking and communication skills, both written and verbal
- A collaborative spirit and a desire to lead within FanDuel Group
- Preferred: Certified Anti-Money Laundering Specialist (CAMS) certification

The salary range for this position is $74,000 - $88,000, based on various factors including experience and market demand. Benefits may include medical, vision, and dental insurance; life and disability insurance; a 401(k) matching program; and paid personal time off.
