Purpose

The primary role involves preparing and serving specialty coffee beverages and other drinks by adhering to established recipes. Responsibilities also include assisting in the training of new employees, managing cash transactions, maintaining inventory, and ensuring the cleanliness and functionality of equipment.

Responsibilities
  • Prepare and serve a variety of hot and cold beverages following standard recipes and customer preferences
  • Provide enthusiastic and excellent customer service while greeting patrons
  • Exhibit leadership qualities and knowledge of current promotions
  • Adhere to food safety and sanitation standards
  • Support the training of new staff and uphold productivity levels
  • Process transactions accurately and manage cash handling
  • Assist with inventory management, ordering, receiving, and stocking supplies
Required Qualifications
  • Experience in a Café Attendant or similar role
  • Familiarity with standard beverage and kitchen equipment
  • Completion of Food Safety Training
Preferred Qualifications
  • At least 6 months of experience in a Café Attendant position
  • Experience with well-known coffee brands
  • Background in cash handling and fast-paced environments
  • Ability to work independently and manage a large customer base
Salary Range

$37,440 + based on qualifications

Working Conditions
  • Uniforms and/or personal protective equipment provided
  • Potential exposure to extreme temperatures and chemicals
  • Repetitive tasks requiring manual dexterity
  • May involve lifting and moving heavy items
  • Strength and agility assessments may be required
