Job Overview

As a Vehicle Operations Specialist at Vantage Auto, you will play a crucial role in the efficient management of our vehicle logistics. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Vehicle Pickup and Delivery: Responsible for the transportation of vehicles and the organization of inventory within the facility as directed by the management team.
  • Route Planning: Utilize GPS systems or mapping applications to determine optimal routes for timely deliveries.
  • Vehicle Inspections: Conduct daily checks on vehicles and report any maintenance or repair requirements.
  • Adaptability: Adjust to changing schedules or routes as required by the organization.
  • Inventory Management: Ensure all vehicles are properly scanned and tagged with VinPoint at both drop-off and pickup points.
  • Key Management: Ensure all keys are tagged and organized in the key room.
  • Plate Management: Coordinate with the Office Manager for dealer plate check-ins and check-outs.
  • Fuel Management: Ensure all vehicles maintain a fuel level between 1/8 and 1/4 tank.
  • Team Support: Provide assistance throughout the dealership as needed.
  • Additional Duties: Perform other related tasks as assigned.
Qualifications
  • Possession of a valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
  • Capability to operate both automatic and manual transmission vehicles.
  • Experience driving various vehicle models and sizes.
  • Strong time management skills with a proven ability to efficiently maintain schedules.
  • Excellent verbal communication and interpersonal abilities.
  • Outstanding organizational skills and attention to detail.
