Job Description

The Pharmacy Intern is registered with the Pennsylvania State Board of Pharmacy for the purpose of receiving experiential pharmacy practice training. Assists the pharmacist in the storage, preparation, and dispensing of medications to patients, patient care areas, and departments. Identifies, prepares, packages, labels, and delivers medications, including sterile products, and provides other pharmaceutical care commensurate with years of professional education under the supervision of a pharmacist.

Required Skills and Qualifications

  • Enrolled in an accredited college or school of Pharmacy (Required)
  • No prior experience is required
  • Prefers PA Pharmacy Intern (PI-LIC) licensure
