LANGUAGE: Chinese-Taishanese Interpreter for Remote Engagements

As a remote language interpreter, you will be instrumental in bridging communication gaps between CHINESE-TAISHANESE and English speakers. Your role demands swift and precise information processing while maintaining a professional demeanor. A quiet and secure workspace is essential for optimal performance. Utilizing tools such as notepads, writing instruments, glossaries, and dictionaries will enhance your effectiveness.

Qualifications for Candidates:

  • Fluency in both English and Chinese-Taishanese
  • Preferred experience of at least 2 years in interpretation
  • Exceptional listening, retention, and note-taking abilities to ensure high accuracy
  • Ability to convey accurate concepts and meanings following established interpretation protocols, avoiding any omissions or additions
  • Capability to clarify cultural nuances to prevent miscommunication, with the client's consent or request
