At Texas Panhandle Centers, we are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Registered Nurse III to join our team in Amarillo, TX. As a Registered Nurse III, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional patient care and contributing to the success of our organization.

Job Summary:

The Registered Nurse III is responsible for providing professional psychiatric nursing services for the Outpatient Behavioral Health Units of TPC. This role requires a strong commitment to delivering high-quality patient care, working collaboratively with the treatment team, and adhering to TPC's Business Code of Conduct.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Maintain ethical and professional communications at all times using respectful Trauma-Informed Care language.
  • Provide professional psychiatric nursing services for the Outpatient Behavioral Health Units of TPC.
  • Work closely with all TPC treatment team members and community partners to attend to the psychiatric needs of clients.
  • Interact with clients in a person-centered, trauma-informed manner and provide direct services in the area of medication, mental health education, and care coordination.
  • Adhere to TPC's Business Code of Conduct and report concerns if ethical and/or business standards defined in the code are compromised.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's or Associate's degree in nursing from an accredited program.
  • Licensed through the Texas State Board of Nursing Examiner (TXBNE) as a Registered Nurse (RN).
  • License must be current and in good standing.
  • Work experience as an RN in a recognized health agency, hospital, or healthcare facility.
  • Must be able to demonstrate compliance with a TXBNE's rules and regulations to maintain required license.
  • Must have a valid Texas driver's license and be insurable under agency vehicle policy.
  • Must be 18 years of age or older.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Bilingual.
