Role Overview:
The Sales Associate will be responsible for executing sales initiatives within a designated territory to enhance market presence and drive revenue growth. Key responsibilities include:

  • Developing sales forecasts, setting discount targets, and managing budgetary allocations while monitoring performance to achieve sales and profit objectives.
  • Collaborating with management to formulate and implement strategies for sales expansion.
  • Engaging with DIY customers to provide project assistance and recommend Sika products, ensuring cross-merchandising of related items throughout the retail space.
  • Partnering with Pro Sales Managers to leverage shared leads and create additional sales opportunities.
  • Presenting Sika products to customers, highlighting their features and benefits.
  • Maintaining sales displays, promotional materials, and ensuring effective product placement.
  • Identifying opportunities for impactful product displays, including wing stacks and end caps.
  • Planning and participating in store-specific events, inviting key customers, and following up on sales leads.
  • Conducting training sessions and product demonstrations for store associates and consumers.
  • Ensuring adequate product supply through automatic replenishment systems.

Qualifications:
The ideal candidate will possess:

  • Experience in merchandising, retail operations, or sales within the contractor segment.
  • A self-motivated and results-driven attitude.
  • Strong organizational skills, with the ability to manage time effectively and prioritize tasks.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to build relationships across diverse personality types.
  • A valid driver's license and a clean driving record.
  • The physical capability to lift up to 50 pounds regularly.
  • Flexibility to work seasonal hours, including weekends during peak periods.
