Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Medical Assistant to join our team at Compass Oncology. As a Medical Assistant, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional patient care and supporting our clinical team in a fast-paced oncology environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist physicians and clinicians with patient care duties, including escorting patients to and from exam rooms and treatment areas.
  • Record patient data, including vital signs, medical history, and medication information.
  • Prepare and stock exam and treatment rooms, and maintain a clean and organized environment.
  • Administer injections and medications as directed by physicians.
  • Process patient test results and schedule follow-up appointments as needed.
  • Perform administrative tasks, such as answering phones, scheduling appointments, and maintaining patient records.
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Certificate of graduation from an accredited Medical Assistant program.
  • Current CPR certification required.
  • Minimum 1-3 years of experience as a Medical Assistant or nursing assistant preferred.
  • Phlebotomy experience a plus.
