The Golf Assistant Mechanic is responsible for performing maintenance on property vehicles, tools, and equipment, ensuring smooth operations and safety. This role includes daily upkeep of the golf course, including mowing, trimming, aerification, and managing irrigation systems.
Job DescriptionThis position requires a valid driver's license, attention to detail, and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining proper maintenance inventory and requisitioning parts and supplies as needed.
Main Responsibilities- Perform preventative maintenance on tools and equipment, including cleaning and lubrication.
- Maintain daily logs of operation, maintenance, and safety activities, including test results, instrument readings, and details of equipment malfunctions and maintenance work.
- Operate tractors, trucks, or utility vehicles to transport equipment and supplies.
- Mow grass using a riding or walk-behind mower.
- Trim and edge grass in areas that mowers cannot reach.
- Install grass, trees, and shrubs.
- Monitor property grounds to ensure a pleasant appearance.
The ideal candidate will have a High School diploma or equivalent, with less than 1 year of related work experience. A valid driver's license is required for this position.
