Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Occupational Therapist to join our team as an independent contractor. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for conducting home safety evaluations with clients and/or caregivers to identify ways to improve safety and independence in the home.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct thorough home safety evaluations to identify potential hazards and develop personalized reports for clients and/or caregivers.
  • Provide education and guidance on basic fall prevention strategies and techniques.
  • Establish rapport and engage in collaborative discussion with clients and/or caregivers to meet their individual needs.
Requirements
  • Illinois OT registration and licensure required.
  • Availability for home safety checkups in the San Francisco area.
  • Experience working with the geriatric population (1-3 years experience preferred).
  • Effective communication and clinical reasoning skills.
