General Overview....

The Production Associate is tasked with executing a variety of support activities across all operational functions. This role encompasses assisting operational areas with data entry, resolving process exceptions, managing product discrepancies, conducting in-process audits, and overseeing shipping and receiving inventory within the Warehouse Management System (WMS). Responsibilities also include preparing receipts and shipment activities, as well as validating production and receiving tasks. The associate will maintain records of incoming and outgoing shipments and interact with WMS to complete transactions. Validation checks on shipments or inbound deliveries against shipping invoices or bills of lading for accuracy and completeness are also required. This position emphasizes maintaining standards of safety, accuracy, and productivity.

Key Responsibilities....

  • Prepare products for receipt or shipment from the warehouse, both physically and systematically.
  • Ensure actual products match associated documentation; file records and document transactions in WMS.
  • Test and validate software functionality of repaired devices and reassemble as necessary.
  • Document, inspect, and evaluate performance and/or appearance to repair and/or restore items to their original state.
  • Conduct production validations on operational processes.
  • Engage in various research and exception resolution tasks.
  • Compile and distribute routine production and activity reports.
  • Address internal and external inquiries regarding receiving/shipping data or issues.
  • Perform tasks safely and in compliance with company and customer safety standards.
  • Execute additional related duties as assigned within the department.

Ideal Candidate Profile....

Education/Experience

  • High school diploma or equivalent, with at least one (1) year of relevant data processing experience, preferably in a distribution center environment.
  • 2-4 years of experience in a warehouse or clerical setting requiring the application of various warehouse/clerical practices.
  • Proficient in PC skills (Microsoft Windows, Microsoft Office including Excel and Word).
  • Familiarity with Radio Frequency (RF) equipment is advantageous.
  • Demonstrated sense of urgency, attention to detail, and adaptability in meeting deadlines.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Customer service oriented.
  • Effective team player.
