Job Summary
Adecco US, Inc. is seeking a highly motivated Inventory Management Coordinator to join our team in East Hartford, CT. This role involves handling inbound and outbound shipments, maintaining inventory accuracy, and ensuring compliance with safety standards.

Key Responsibilities
This role includes the following key responsibilities:
- Receiving: Unload and inspect incoming shipments for accuracy and damage, verify received goods against purchase orders or invoices using SAP systems, and ensure proper storage of received items according to company standards.
- Shipping: Prepare outgoing shipments by packing items securely, creating necessary documentation, and labeling packages accurately, utilizing UPS and FedEx systems for shipping tasks, including scheduling pickups and coordinating logistics.
- Inventory Management: Update inventory records in SAP to reflect received and shipped goods, perform cycle counts, and assist in physical inventory counts as required.
- Handling Equipment: Use manual pallet jacks for moving materials within the facility and create and assemble shipping boxes and other packaging materials.
- Safety and Compliance: Adhere to all safety protocols to prevent injury and damage to goods and keep the shipping and receiving area clean and organized.

Qualifications and Skills
The ideal candidate should have previous experience in shipping and receiving, preferably with exposure to SAP or similar ERP systems, familiarity with LTL shipping and logistics, excellent organizational and time-management skills, strong attention to detail, and ability to work in a fast-paced environment with minimal supervision.
