Job Summary

ATC - Northwest is seeking dedicated and compassionate Dietary Aides to join our team in Clackamas, Oregon. As a Dietary Aide, you will be responsible for assisting with the preparation and serving of meals to our patients and residents.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist in the preparation of food and serve meals, snacks, and beverages using portion control and applicable sanitation practices.
  • Deliver meals to resident rooms or tables and set up meal trays in accordance with dietary orders and tray cards.
  • Ensure residents are served proper diet and food preferences in a timely manner.
  • Keep the kitchen, dietary equipment, and dining room clean and sanitary at all times, including work areas and floors.
  • Clean utensils, dishes, and pots and pans by operating the dishwasher or proper handwashing processes.
  • Ensure proper storage, rotation, preparation, and labeling of food in accordance with State and local guidelines and Prestige policy.
  • Partner with dietary staff to ensure equipment is working properly and at the appropriate temperature.
  • Follow facility fire safety, infection control, and hazardous chemical practices.
  • Greet residents, visitors, and staff courteously and in a manner that respects dignity, meets confidentiality standards, and promotes resident and staff rights.
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Minimum of 1 year experience as a dietary aide or similar food industry experience.
  • Must have Food Handler Permit as required by the State.
  • Ability to work well independently and in a team environment.
  • COVID Vaccinated.
  • Recent PPD Test or Chest X-Ray.
  • Clear criminal background check(s) & drug screening.

Compensation

All ATC Healthcare employees are hourly. Employees are eligible for overtime, holiday pay, and, depending on location if available. Referral and attendance bonuses are offered to all contract employees.
