Job Title: Physical Therapist Assistant

We are seeking a skilled Physical Therapist Assistant to join our team at Hope Community Resources, Inc. As a Physical Therapist Assistant, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality patient care and contributing to the success of our organization.

Responsibilities:
  • Execute treatment plans for patients, as recommended by the physical therapist.
  • Demonstrate competency in accordance with hospital policy, procedures, and practices.
  • Instruct patients in equipment use per physical therapist's recommendations.
  • Identify and implement appropriate patient/family education in consultation with physical therapist.
  • Complete accurate records to ensure correct documentation, charge sheets, treatment records, and medical record documents in a timely manner.
  • Communicate patient status at care conferences.
  • Assist and collaborate with the medical director, physician, or consultants and other staff members of the rehabilitation team in circumstances where joint efforts are necessary.
  • Participate in staff meetings and inservices to disseminate professional and/or administrative knowledge and/or policies.
  • Assist with the maintenance of hospital or clinic equipment, reporting need for repairs and replacements when necessary.
Qualifications:
  • Licensed as PTA in the state where the hospital or clinic resides.
  • Current BLS certification required.
  • One year of clinical experience preferred.
