Position Overview:
We are in search of a skilled and dedicated CNC Machinist to become a vital part of our engineering team. The ideal candidate will possess a robust background in ID/OD grinding, hobbing, and related machining processes.

As a CNC Machinist, your primary responsibilities will include operating and maintaining grinding machinery, ensuring the highest quality output, and adhering to stringent safety protocols.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Operate and maintain CNC grinding machinery, ensuring optimal performance and output.
  • Utilize precision measurement instruments to inspect and confirm dimensions of finished products.
  • Interpret blueprints, sketches, and engineering specifications to manufacture components that meet exact standards.
  • Adjust machine settings and controls to maintain specified tolerances.
  • Conduct regular inspections of equipment to ensure proper functionality and perform routine maintenance or repairs as necessary.
  • Monitor machine feed and speed during grinding operations, making adjustments to prevent damage to components or machinery.
  • Collaborate with colleagues and supervisors to enhance work processes, improve product quality, and boost efficiency.
  • Adhere to all safety protocols and procedures to maintain a secure and efficient working environment.
Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent required; a degree or certification in a related field is advantageous.
  • At least 2 years of experience in ID/OD grinding, hobbing, or similar machining processes.
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints, sketches, and engineering specifications.
  • Proven experience in operating and maintaining CNC grinding equipment.
  • Strong knowledge of precision measurement tools and their applications.
  • Exceptional attention to detail and a commitment to producing high-quality work.
  • Strong problem-solving abilities and troubleshooting skills.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced, high-volume setting.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
