Job Summary

We are seeking a Certified Medication Aide to join our team at The Meadows at Ashland. As a CMA, you will be responsible for setting up and administering medications under the direction and supervision of a Charge Nurse, and assisting residents with activities of daily living.

Responsibilities
  1. Set up and administer medications under the direction and supervision of a Charge Nurse.
  2. Assist residents with activities of daily living, including bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, and positioning in and out of bed.
  3. Prepare residents for meals and snacks, and assist with resident recreation programs.
  4. Read and follow daily care plans, and perform assigned restorative and rehabilitative procedures.
  5. Report changes in resident condition to the Nurse in charge, and document care provision on resident records.
Requirements
  • Certified as a Certified Medication Tech (CMT) or Certified Medication Aide (CMA).
  • Certified Nursing Assistant in good standing with the state.
  • High school or equivalent.
  • Professional enthusiastic attitude, strong communication skills, and self-motivation.
