Exciting Opportunity in Cardiovascular Medicine

Norman Regional Health System is a leading healthcare provider in the Oklahoma City metro area, renowned for its innovative cardiovascular program. We are seeking an experienced and skilled Registered Technologist to join our team of nine cardiologists and two electrophysiologists.

We have emerged as a beacon of workplace excellence, with a strong commitment to providing exceptional patient care. Our state-of-the-art Critical Care Tower features three Cath Lab suites, one Electrophysiology suite, one Hybrid suite, two treatment rooms, and seventeen Same Day Surgery rooms.

Job Summary
  • Prepare equipment before and during procedures.
  • Identify and assess patient condition.
  • Prepare, position, and provide patient care.
  • Maintain a sterile environment.
Professional Practice
  • Serve as a preceptor for new hires and radiology students.
  • Participate in the orientation of new staff.
  • Use downtime effectively by stocking rooms, checking equipment, and other delegated tasks.
  • Maintain strong professional working relationships with physicians and leadership.
Responsibilities

As a CV Rad Technologist at Norman Regional Health System, you will play a crucial role in supporting our innovative cardiac program. Your expertise will enable us to provide high-quality patient care in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.

Requirements
  • Complete Cath Lab RT Orientation within 6 months.
  • Complete all competencies listed in department policy within 6 months.
  • Education: Completion of a 24-month formal program or military program of Radiologic Technology with American Registry of Radiologic Technologist eligibility and/or current RCIS certification.
  • Experience: Previous Procedural Area experience preferred.
Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you should possess:

  • A Graduate degree from an accredited Radiographic Program or Cardiovascular Program.
  • One year of experience working in a Cath Lab setting.
  • Registration as a Radiographer with the American Registry of Radiological Technologist - ARRT or Registration from the Cardiovascular Credentialing International – RCIS.
Compensation and Benefits

We offer a competitive salary range of $27.84-$45.46 per hour based on previous work experience. Additionally, we provide a comprehensive benefits package, including medical, dental, vision, short-term disability, long-term disability, life insurance, paid time off (PTO), paid holidays, tuition reimbursement, scholarship opportunities, retirement plans, free parking, and opportunities for advancement.

Estimated Salary: $59,400 - $94,500 per year
