The Clinical Liaison is tasked with evaluating potential residents/guests in healthcare facilities to determine eligibility for services and assess suitability for placement.

This role involves cultivating and sustaining vital relationships with healthcare professionals, including physicians, discharge planners, senior living providers, and home health agencies, to support business development and enhance community occupancy.

The Clinical Liaison will also coordinate marketing outreach efforts for the Health Center.

Key Responsibilities:

- Engage in activities to achieve the community's sales and occupancy targets aligned with the marketing strategy.

- Foster positive connections with discharge planners, physicians, families, and other healthcare providers, promoting the community's programs and services.

- Maintain proactive communication with prospective residents/guests and their families, as well as key influencers, to drive sales activities necessary for meeting objectives.

This includes regular personal interactions such as phone calls, visits, correspondence, and tours.

- Stay informed about relevant operational, competitive, and organizational information to effectively address inquiries and convey the community's message.

- Assess potential residents/guests by reviewing medical histories and collaborating with healthcare teams to determine admission suitability.

Communicate the community's admission criteria and gather payer information, including Medicare and Private Pay options. Participate in the formulation of annual marketing strategies, competitive assessments, and event planning. Establish and nurture strategic partnerships with professional referral sources through effective outreach.

Qualifications:

- Minimum of an Associate's degree in nursing or a related health field preferred, or equivalent experience with at least 2 years in a sales/admissions role within skilled nursing, home health, or assisted living.

- Must be a proactive problem solver with a solid understanding of healthcare insurance, including Medicare and Long-Term Care options.

To achieve admissions targets, candidates should be comfortable with marketing presentations and possess proven skills in community outreach initiatives.

- Familiarity with technology relevant to the position and its application in outreach strategies and communication with professionals, families, and potential residents/guests is essential.

Knowledge of assessment and treatment techniques for human health issues, including symptoms, treatment alternatives, and preventive measures is required. Understanding and sensitivity to the needs of the elderly population is crucial. Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills are necessary. Good visual and auditory acuity is required; effective verbal communication skills are essential. A professional demeanor is expected, with the ability to manage potentially stressful situations.
