As the Senior Director of Production Engineering, you'll play a critical role in ensuring the seamless operation of our technology infrastructure and driving innovation in our systems.

This is a unique opportunity to join a vibrant, collaborative team that's passionate about solving complex problems and making a global impact. You'll be responsible for leading a team of engineers in designing, managing, and securing our cloud infrastructure, as well as overseeing the integration and management of data platforms that support data analytics, machine learning, and large-scale data processing.

As a technical leader, you'll define and implement a clear technical strategy, ensuring the team remains focused on the highest-priority work while adhering to strategic goals. You'll also work closely with engineers on issues related to scalability, performance, and efficiency, making key decisions that ensure both the short-term and long-term health of our infrastructure.

Key areas under your stewardship include:

  • Cloud Engineering: You will design, manage, and secure the cloud infrastructure that powers our company's products, building multi-cloud architectures that are scalable, flexible, and resilient.
  • Site Reliability: You will ensure our systems are reliable, available, and efficient, constantly monitoring performance and identifying bottlenecks to prevent issues before they impact users.
  • DevOps: You will bridge the gap between development and operations, enabling the delivery of our product by automating and optimizing the entire software development lifecycle.

As a leader, you'll be responsible for:

  • Defining and implementing a clear technical strategy
  • Overseeing the development of scalable, reliable, and secure production systems
  • Collaborating across the organization to align engineering efforts with business objectives
  • Establishing and continuously improving best practices for monitoring, incident response, automation, and system performance optimization

We're looking for a technical leader with a strong sense of shared ownership and a collaborative disposition. You'll be a hands-on leader who leads from the front, willing to help the team deliver. This role can be based in New York City, Washington D.C., or the San Francisco Bay Area with an expectation of hybrid work or occasional travel as needed.
